There seems to be a problem with how well our education system is getting people ready for today's jobs. Many graduates lack the skills that employers need. This gap between what people know and what they need to know is leaving many struggling to find good jobs. In Bangladesh, where the job market is tough and pay is often low, this issue is particularly acute. A recent survey by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics showed that more graduates are struggling to find work. The number of unemployed graduates has doubled in the last five years, with the unemployment rate among those with higher education rising from 11.2% in 2016-17 to 12% in 2022.
